ABM were called upon to investigate a flood in an office in Cowfold, West Sussex. It was quickly ascertained that the external water gullies were not sufficient to withstand ever increasing rain and water tables. We quickly set about supplying emergency alterative office accommodation and storage facilities to minimise the damage to valuable files, and to allow the business to continue to run efficiently.

The office was below ground level, so it was imperative that the tanking was in good condition to prevent any further water penetration. To ensure there was no risk of further water penetration we applied a vertical tanking system, and extensive external ground works were also carried out again to prevent further damage. The complete project from the initial call to reinstating the office took seven weeks to complete. ABM worked closely with the loss adjusters and the client to ensure minimum loss and claim value.
